Kate’s Style Choice Crashes Reiss Website

We at KateMiddleton.com can’t say we’re surprised because, frankly, everything Kate does it fantastic and her style choices are no different.  Demand for the Reiss dress she wore when meeting President and Mrs. Obama this week is so high that it caused the designer’s website to crash!

A Reiss spokesperson said that traffic to the site increased by over 300% when news broke that the Duchess of Cambridge had worn their creation, which retails at $340.

The site’s crashing drama was documented on Reiss’ Twitter account and was reported on Tuesday afternoon.

Visiting the site will find you faced with a message from Reiss indicating the demand and telling people to be patient.  This is the second time Reiss has benefited from Kate’s style choice.  The lovely Kate wore a cream-colored Reiss dress in one of the official royal engagement photos and the dress promptly sold out.
