The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge enjoyed their first family get-together with a day at the races, joining the Queen and Prince Phillip, Prince Harry, Prince Andrew and his daughters, Beatrice and Eugenie.

The Royal set were out to support the Queen’s horse, Carlton House, which was a favorite to win but disappointingly came third after losing a shoe.

A source at the race said, ”It’s a prize she always wanted and at the end she looked deflated, but philosophical.”
