Kate and William Back in the UK

Kate and William have returned back to the UK after a romantic 10-day honeymoon at an Indian Ocean paradise resort.  St. James’s Palace confirms that the couple has returned to Britain.

The couple, who are said to have returned by private jet on Friday, “…”left happy and clearly content with their stay,” the head of the Seychelles tourism board, Alain St Ange, told the Associated Press.

Seychelles foreign minister Jean-Paul Adam told the Associated Press they “are truly honored that Prince William and his wife chose to return to Seychelles for this special holiday and we are proud to have been able to offer them a peaceful and private getaway.”

According to the AP, the Seychelles coast guard helped ensure the couple’s privacy as they stayed on North Island. On their last day the royal couple invited the coast guard ashore to personally thank them for their efforts.

It is not public when Prince William will return to work as an RAF pilot, but it is expected he will report for duty this coming week in Anglesey, before returning to London to celebrate the Queen’s 85th birthday as well as celebrating his grandfather’s birthday on June 12.
